Department Inspecting

Trailer Header/Front

Air connectors sealed and lines in good condition
Trailer electrical plug is firmly seated and locked in place
Front area free of damage such as cracks, bulges, or holes
Header board is secure and free of damage
Locking pins are locked in place and release arm is secured
No cracks or broken welds in beams/crossmembers of undercarriage

Trailer Body

Look for cracks, broken welds, holes or other damage to the frame, cross members, box and floor
Trailer walls free of holes/cracks
Check that the landing gear is fully raised, has no missing parts, crank handle is secure, and the support frame is not damaged
Side lighting/reflectors

Trailer Rear

Doors seal, open, close, and latch properly from the outside
Tail/Left/Right Turn Signals work
Rear Tire Tread Good
Fenders and mud flaps, secure and undamaged

Inspection Completion
